BLOG #3
Do we really need somebody, to give us our identity? To complete the meaning of our life? To validate our existence? We have number of friends, family members, childern, our beloved, acquaintances. All these are parts of our life. But we do not realise, how gradually they transmute from 'part' to 'full'! That is, they instead, become our lives! The reason for our existence.
We get dependent on them.Being with them, gives us pleasure, while their absence disheartens us! Similar is true with those we dislike.
So the basic question which emerges is; why do we prioritise people? Why do we give them the very power to affect us in any manner? Why are we crippled without them?
It is noteworhty that,
"KOI APNA NHI, KOI PARAYA NAHIN.
HUM SAB TO VIDHI KE IS NAATYA ME,
NIBHA RAHEIN HAIN KIRDAAR APNE APNE."
(NONE IS OURS, NONE IS AN OUTSIDER,
WE, IN THIS DRAMA OF LIFE,
ARE PLAYING OUR OWN UNIQUE CHARACTERS.)
If we realise these very basic lines into our lives, our lives would be changed. A renewed one. The joy, the anguish, the jealousy, the excitement, the fear, the love,,,,,these all are not brought about by a third person. The cause is but, 'YOU' ! All these feelings are our creations, our thoughts, our illusions.
So, the conclusion what we get is, the bunch of keys to one's life's various phases is in his own hands. We are constantly moving in the path of life. Where we need to act upon is, not render them to those who are passer-by.
Philosopher Sir Henley wrote, "I am the Master of my Fate, I am the Captain of my Soul." Thus, it's we, who are the rulers. We owe the helm of our life's ways.
Gradually, bring into life, this principle. And you'll see how simple everything gets. All mysteries inside your head get deciphered. The nights you spend awaking, mulling over the various 'WHY's of life' reduce their frequency. What you are gifted with then, is peace; which I guess, has become just a theory nowadays, only found in dictionaries & books, not in real!
