My idea of life

BLOG #5

If I put a very simple question in front of you; What do you want from life, then what would you answer?

Give yourself a little time. Have a meeting with self, a discussion in serenity with your mind. What answer do you get? And if your answer is one of those clichéd ones such as money, power, wealth, post etcetera, then sir/madam, let me reveal out to you, that YOU are conceiveing a big illusion! All you are doing is fooling around your own self. 'Cause the aforementioned are ephemeral or temporary. Life is a transient entity. You can not define it's girths or circumference! You can not bind it into some parameters. You can never limit it into some terms and objects. It is a flow. You can only flow with it, albeit having the helm of your direction and pace in your hands. So aspire for big, with a greater discernment; viewing with different perceptions.

Now think again; with this new aspect, with this new dimension which itself is dimensionless! Know the answer as to how you are shaping your life and whether you acquiesce to it this way.

This time, I hope you have a slightly different answer. With a new perspective. If no, then begin finding one, and if yes, then begin working for one. Find out the answers that lie beneath. And live with those answers. Atleast you'll have this very basic thing clear to you, as to 'What are you?' and 'Why are you?'. Else, you'll keep tracing the curve of life aimlessly along the locus shown by others, achieving goals fitted in you by others which will only bag you with apparent happiness and apparent satisfaction. Living in mirages!

If you've watched the movie, YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI, when the heroine asks the same 'WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM LIFE' from hero, he replies 'speed'. All he want is to keep moving. Now, this is an aim.

If you'd ask me my WHY, I would reply 'contentment'. A constant attitude in life: complaintless; accepting all the scenarios that life presents me with courage to deal them. Some people might will to serve others in life, others might will to live life to the fullest. Some might want happiness, but then again, what is your idea of happiness? It's perceived differently by different people. So, I hope you've got the gist what I'm trying to convey. Think big, conceive big.

So what's your 'WHY'? Give it a thought.
